Hi! I’m Helene Gaither, proud owner of Oceans Abound Travel Agency  and your partner in planning unforgettable, stress-free travel experiences.

Oceans Abound Travel began with a simple purpose: to help people explore the world with ease and create memories they’ll talk about for years. As a wife, mom of two sets of twins (because one set wasn't enough!), and caretaker to a very full house of pets, I know how precious vacation time truly is. That’s why I pour my heart into planning trips that feel effortless, meaningful, and tailored to exactly what you want.

After the pandemic in 2022, I realized I needed a career that let me be more present with my family while still following my passion for travel. What started as helping friends and family plan their getaways soon turned into a business I absolutely love. Today, Oceans Abound Travel gives me the joy of helping others discover breathtaking destinations, rich cultures, and those magical travel moments you remember forever.

To ensure I’m always offering the best insight and up-to-date expertise, I stay active in the industry through ASTA, CLIA, IATAN, the Family Travel Association, and Travel Leaders Network, along with ongoing Familiarization trips, trainings, and professional development. 

While professional training, industry certifications, and destination education are invaluable, I believe there’s no substitute for firsthand experience. My own travels have taken me around the world - from the vibrant cities of Japan and the rolling countryside of Ireland to the charming villages of Germany and beyond -as well as aboard a variety of cruises exploring incredible destinations by sea. I've also spent countless hours exploring our own beautiful country, with the East Coast holding a special place in my heart. Each journey has given me practical insight into the destinations, cruise lines, ships, and travel experiences I recommend, allowing me to offer personalized advice, insider tips, and real-world recommendations that help my clients travel with confidence and create unforgettable memories.
